Baby monitors are devices that allow you to keep an eye on your baby.  They usually consist of a camera and to monitor.  There are a variety of monitors to choose from and you can choose from either black and white or color monitors.  As well be speaking monitors use a speaker or intercom system so you can keep tabs on your baby in an audio sense as well. Here are some of my thoughts on baby monitors.

Being a new father myself I was given a baby monitor as a gift.  When I first received it I was very eager to set it up and start using it.  The installation was fairly simple and straightforward.  I used it quite a bit as I would be working on my computer in the other room or watching television while the baby would be sleeping in the crib.  Over time however I started using the baby monitor less and less as I became more confident in having the baby around.  So in the end it appears that I am not using the device as much as I thought it would.  For me I guess it became a kind of novelty.  But anyway depending on your lifestyle you might find this type of device very useful.  If you think such a device might be useful be sure to check out all the listings on this page.
